Well, it's best, of course, if the reader already knows the joke before reading the story -- but I didn't want to give too much away (hah) by telling the joke first. I just wanted to defend myself against the flood of angry email complaining, "Hey! There's no oral sex in this story! You teasing bitch!"

One of these days I will write NC17 Snape/Black. Until then, I read [info]fabularasa's stories, and drool copiously.

It was great! I didn't know the joke, so I thought it would be something about repressed desires or Freudian slips ... 'fuck you!' but with less of an exclamation mark, more of a question mark.

Hey, Snape/Black is all about the repressed desires. I firmly believe that once they get past the veneer of animosity, it's gonna be nothing but wild screaming sex from here on out.

That was extremely amusing. I think I love Snape/Black snark even more than I love Snape/Black smut. (Ideally, of course, I'd like both.) Your story made me snicker out loud several times. Particularly at the ending.

Oh, every single chapter break made me howl with anticipation as to how drunk they were gonna be in the next bit!

For some reason I'm reminded of the "Excuse me, sonny boy..." bit in Clerks, which had the same effect on me!

You're right. This is very funny and I got the joke pretty early in the day... Thought to memorise some of those insults to try them out on my friends... :-)
